As promised, Pictures!! The Sr.'s of Mary Mother of the Eucharist, in Ann Arbor Michigan, last Wednesday, August 6, had 14 brand-new "baby nun-lettes" make their first profession and exchange the white veils they have worn for the past 2 years, for the signature Dominican black ones... My sister, her husband and daughter made a whirl-wind over night trip last week to be there for the ceremony. Unable to take pictures during the service, she did get these after wards at their reception gathering. You can almost FEEL the glow from those beautiful Sisters faces!
My sister told me that the Mass was beautiful, the Bishop was wonderful, and her favorite part of the service was when the sisters re-emerged in to the Church in their newly donned black veils... Sr. Catherine Marie will be home to visit in just another week!

Oh, I remember when she first planned on going... sigh... seems like just yesterday! She STILL looks so very happy!
